Shakespeare’s own company performed under the open sky and, in keeping with our mission of using Original Staging Practices from the Elizabethan age in staging Renaissance plays, we (often) do, too!

In Flagstaff, we enjoy a wonderful high-desert climate. On any given day, temperatures can vary widely. We recommend bringing at least one warm layer to our daytime shows and several warm layers (and maybe even a cozy blanket) to evening shows.

At all Museum of Northern Arizona shows, we provide cover to keep everyone out of the rain, and we run heaters on cool evenings. We also have ready access to Braniger Hall, complete with stage and seating already set up, so we can transfer a performance indoors as needed.
