Coconino Center for the Arts
Presented by Museum of Contemporary Art Flagstaff and Flagstaff Shakespeare Festival, the Co-Vids: An Arts in Flagstaff Series is a video series designed to showcase artistic collaboration and build new community relationships in Flagstaff. First conceived by Dre Adauto and Dawn Tucker in summer 2020, the project was funded by Creative Flagstaff, City of Flagstaff BBB Revenues, and Flagstaff365.com. Over the last year, our artists have been working hard to create, film, and edit five unusually paired collaborations. On November 5th, we will premiere all five videos at the Coconino Center for the Arts to celebrate their ingenuity.
The evening will feature mingling with the artists as well as a chance to purchase art and merchandise from the featured artists before and after the presentations. The videos will then be presented individually with a short Q&A with the artists after each video.
Masks must be worn inside the Coconino Center for the Arts. Tickets can be purchased at the door, entrance will be donation/pay-what-you-will, and all proceeds will be split by MOCAF and FlagShakes. Patrons will be required to show proof of vaccination or proof of a negative test within 72 hours of the event.
