The Comedy of Errors
The wild west. Love. Mistaken identity. A shipwreck. Twins. Two sets of twins… What could go wrong? It’s The Comedy of Errors! Join us Fridays through Sundays from October 7-16 at the Coconino Center for the Arts for our hilarious production of The Comedy of Errors by William Shakespeare.
After a successful summer season, FlagShakes is gearing up for our fall show, which is sure to make you laugh out loud. Directed by Katherine Mayberry of Pigeon Creek Shakespeare in Michigan, the show will feature incredible professional actors (as always) from both near and far.
The play follows Antipholus and his assistant Dromio, each searching for their long lost twins in the city of Ephesus. Upon their arrival in town, a series of shenanigans ensue as a comedy of errors and identities unfolds.
Tickets are available now! There will also be a pay-what-you-will preview at our final dress rehearsal on Thursday, October 6th! Join us for free or whatever you’d like to donate that night. This show is sponsored by Uptown Pubhouse.
The Comedy of Errors is going on tour! Join us at New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas, New Mexico, for a short run. After closing in Flagstaff, we will perform at the NMHU Ilfeld Auditorium on October 21 at 7:00 pm and October 22 at 2:00 pm. There will be an ASL interpreter at the Saturday NMHU performance. The show is FREE for the community! We hope to see you there.
