It was such a pleasure to see so many patrons in 2023. Of all our successes this year, here are a few highlights: our summer shows under the festival tent at Lowell Observatory sold out all three weekends, our spring and fall shows brought in new audiences and celebrated new stories, and we collaborated with many other local organizations such as Orpheum Theater and the Flagstaff Book Festival!

To finish off a busy year, we are thrilled to present our first-ever Theatre for Young Audiences play, Simply Silly Shakespeare. Our production of Simply Silly Shakespeare was created in collaboration with Matthew Windham and AJ Maniglia and will open at Coconino Center for the Arts on December 9th and run just two days. All patrons, regardless of age, will enjoy this hilarious Shakespeare romp but we will also have a special “Simply Silly After Dark” performance on Saturday evening.

In 2024 we will continue to focus on collaboration and elevating empathy hand-in-hand with many members of the arts community. Our proposed and never before announced 2024 season will include (you heard it here first, folks!):

• Mendelsohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream with Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra, Flagstaff Ballet, and the NAU Choir

• Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare at Lowell Observatory

• The Merry Wives of Windsor by William Shakespeare at Lowell Observatory

• and a TBD play in the fall.
