Shakespeare’s own company performed under the open sky and, in keeping with our mission of using Original Staging Practices from the Elizabethan age in staging Renaissance plays, we (often) do, too!
In Flagstaff, we enjoy a wonderful high-desert climate and a luscious monsoon season. This means that on any given day, temperatures can vary widely, and there’s almost always a 50% chance of rain. We recommend bringing at least one warm layer to our daytime shows and several warm layers (and maybe even a cozy blanket) to evening shows.
At all Museum of Northern Arizona shows, we provide cover to keep everyone out of the rain, and we run heaters on cool evenings.
The Arboretum at Flagstaff enjoys the natural shade, but no tent covering.
Coconino Center for the Arts, La Posada Hotel, and Momentum Aerial Arts Studio are all indoor venues.
